| Description |
Provide a twice weekly outreach service which includes a needle exchange service.
They also offer counselling and mentoring, drug awareness education, help with attending appointments and with benefits advice.
The service assists women in gaining access to services to support them in exiting sex work. |
| Objectives |
To assist women who sell sex to break the cycle of repeat offending and problematic drug use.
To reduce the associated risks to women who sell sex.
To reduce the associated risks to the community in Hillfields.
To offer all women a needs assessment at the point of arrest.
To refer women to appropriate treatment support services.
To offer a confidential service to all women referred to the project and deploy exiting strategies, including counselling and alternative therapies. |
