| Description |
This role has only been up and running for just over two years. The drugs worker, a Connexions PA, delivers Tier 2 Drug information to Looked After or Just left Care young people and is now setting up a project to deliver a drug education programme on dealing with young people with substance misuse issues to Foster Carers.
Young Solihull people who are in residential care outside the borough also come under the remit of the team.
Their work is more counselling based than project based and a variety of approaches is used depending on the young person. |
