| Description |
Each Supervising Officer will assess each young offender using ASSET and deal with drug and alcohol issues at Tier 1 and Tier 2 level, providing information, education and counselling.
The team has a dedicated Substance Misuse worker seconded from The ZONE (Dudley's Young People's Service), who co-ordinates all the work carried out by the Supervising Officers and will link any young offenders into the treatment services available at The Zone should this be required or the Positive Activities run by Connexions.
The dedicated worker will also undertake training for all YOT workers at Tier 1. |
