| Description |
The Drugs worker from Base 25 undertakes Outreach work on a regular basis accompanied by a Police Officer. Able to give information and advice on harm reduction, the worker can also offer needle exchange and can refer clients on to treatment facilities at Subs.
CAPE also operates a drop-in service and a counselling service. |
| Objectives |
The aim of the project is to investigate any reports of sexual exploitation through prostitution and provide drug prevention, early intervention, crisis care, health care and mental health interventions to sex workers.
The project aims to help young sex workers increase in self-confidence and esteem, and empower them to take control of their lives and their drug misuse. |
