Description
DASP is a free and confidential advice and information service available to all residents within the area and professionals. For young people, the service is able to give one-off advice and offer training in drug awareness and play therapy. If further counselling or treatment is required then the young person is referred to the nearby Discovery Project.

The project is able to integrate young people into a variety of activities run by other organisations including Schools Summer Schemes. They also organise their own activities weekends where young people go away and participate in sports alongside drug awareness sessions.

DASP is open for drop-in enquiries from 10am to 3pm, Monday to Friday and outreach workers walk round the streets talking to young people and making them aware of the project.
