| | Description | The Bradby Club is able to provide a range of services to young people with sexual health, alcohol and or drug misuse issues.
A youth club venue, it is well used by the U18's in the evenings and during the day it is used as a base for extra curricular work for schools, PRU's, Young People identified as being at risk and those on the CHARM initiative.
To increase well being and self esteem, young people are encouraged to take part in the many sporting activities that are run at the club. Young people with substance misuse issues may not be in the best physical health and gym sessions can be arranged when the club is closed to the public. Other sporting activities include kick boxing (also good for building up strength and discipline) canoeing, basketball, football and dance sessions.
Both youth work and play work methods are incorporated into their programme of activities and events for the young people that attend the club. Be provided with the opportunity to become involved in the planning of the programme of activities and events, and taking a leading role in decision making, thus empowering, and enabling them to accept responsibility for their own actions, and their own lives.
To become involved in the Clubs' committees, thus offering the opportunity to have a voice in the running of the clubs.
